Cinematic Sound is the working title for a feature-length documentary about the art of sound design. It is an opportunity for us to tell the story of the people whose art is the soundscape of movies. We want to show that they protect the vision of the filmmakers while simultaneously elevating it and infusing it with their own creativity. Their work is what keeps a viewer immersed in the story. We want to celebrate their passion, show what drives them, learn about their triumphs and failures, and talk about what they learned from each.
