After the death of her parents, April gains ownership of the family home and soon after her brother and his wife, David and Cristina, move in with her. Already in a delicate emotional state, David and Cristina's tense relationship leaves her uncomfortable and overwhelmed.
The trio's unwillingness to deal with their problems fuels April's desire to set things on fire and soon it becomes her only release.
Fighting Ghosts is the story of addiction, destruction, and the aftermath of giving in to one's carnal impulses.
